Great Spirit Animal Sanctuary has recently relocated to a new home spanning over 200 acres, marking a significant milestone in our journey to end the euthanasia of innocent lives. With this new space comes endless opportunities to expand our impact and provide a safe haven for even more animals in need. However, to fully realize our vision, we need your support. We are reaching out to our compassionate community to ask for donations towards our expansion projects. These projects include the installation of essential fencing to ensure the safety and security of our residents, the construction of additional housing to accommodate the growing number of animals under our care, and the development of enriching activities to enhance their well-being. Your generosity will directly contribute to creating a nurturing environment where animals can thrive and receive the love and care they deserve. No donation is too small, and every contribution makes a meaningful difference in the lives of these innocent beings.

Several of our animals are in hospice care and depend on your generosity for their feed, medical and care. ♥️♥️♥️

Scout and Levi enjoying breakfast.

Dogs are placed in animal control for many reasons. Let’s look at Levi, he was placed because he wasn’t trained right and bit someone, this action put him on death roll. Is this fair, no it’s not. So just minutes left Great Spirit Animal Sanctuary was able to saved him. So Mr. Levi went from a 4x6 usually shared by two dogs to his new home 20x20. Now with the new location he will have a new dog house along with a 20x20 run , here is the best part an acre

of land to run and play with his family. So he can now live the life he was intend for. This is all done with your donations! Also, Levi has been retrained and biting is no longer a priority of his life.

Recently rescued feral kittens from the wild.

This is one of our feral cats that we rescued; we call her Bright Eyes. Her pervious life was living in a building without fresh air and no human contact. Now she has fresh air, friends and Tom. This didn’t happen immediately this happens only with work. This is a big part of what Tom does at GSAS. First you need to build trust again and that takes place with personal contact each day along with caring and feeding. Then slowly showing what their new life will be like. This process takes weeks to accomplish but at the end it’s all worth it. Bright Eyes best friends is Isis and Tom but she loves spending time with all of other animals too. GSAS is one big happy family!

Animals are sadly euthanizing for many different reasons. In Lucky’s case it would be because he was born with his foot backwards. Now keep in mind nothing else is wrong, just his funny looking leg. Well, GSAS saved Luck and gave him his home4 life. GSAS had their veterinarian take a look and see what could be done to help him get around better. They came up with a special brace to wear, which helps Lucky to walk and jump with no difficulties. Today, Lucky no longer needs a brace on and he is living his life like a goat should be, having fun! This is what your donations do, besides saving a life it helps with medical care. Believe me Lucky says thank you to all the donors. ❤️

Hi everyone, I am Hamilton, I was saved by GSAS and now have my home 4 life. Let me tell a little about myself. I was not in the best care; I mean they meant well but they didn’t really understand the life of a pig. I was given a diet that wasn’t good for me and in turn I lost all of my teeth and wasn’t receive the nutrition I needed. Then thank goodness I now live at GSAS with my new family and a diet that is made specially for me to lick and filled with all the nutrition a pig like me needs! Thank you, donors, for helping me and others at GSAS.

That’s right you are not seeing things, that is black lab and a Turkey. Meet Isis a personal dog of GSAS, who is a black lab, now we know labs make good pets for family and good hunting dogs. Nevertheless, Ms. Isis is a good helper with chores. She helps Tom with feeding, watering, cleaning and most importantly socializing with the animals. As for Winnifred who we call Winnie is a wild turkey and we all know what happens to turkeys but for Winnie she was rescued and saved. This picture is no lie all the animals at GSAS are family and from this you can see the love they have for each other, a lab and Turkey. That is what GSAS is about making a home 4 life.

Where all of the animals form a bond and become an extended family.
